On 01.04.2020, our technical superintendent Mr. Peter Fuhrmann had his last working day in our office and was bid farewell by the staff in his well-deserved retirement. Mr. Fuhrmann had been working on board and in the office for our shipping company since 1979. We are all very grateful to Mr. Fuhrmann for his decades of good work and loyalty and wish him all the best for his retirement!

We are proud to announce that we have taken another vessel under our management. The MV “A La Marine” was taken over on 31.01.2020. Under the command of Capt. Ivanov and C/E Roldan the vessel is serving in the feeder trade in the North and Baltic Sea. The owner of the vessel is a longtime business partner of ours. We are very pleased about the faith put into our company and see this additional vessel as a sign of appreciation of the good work of both our crew and our management.

Our shipping company has renewed its sponsoring for an E-Smart of the Hanseatic City of Stade. Herewith we support the city on its way to more E-mobility.

Our employees Ms. Quast and Ms. Werner have had their 10-year anniversary with us on August 1st, 2019. We want to express our gratitude towards Ms. Quast and Ms. Werner for their valuable and reliable work in the best interest of our company.

On March, 19th 2019, our shipping company has been awarded with the price as the “Excellent Training Company 2019” by the Berufsbildungsstelle Seeschifffahrt e.V. In course of the 13th Bremer Schifffahrtskongress this honor has been awarded. We are very proud that the training on board of our vessels has been honored with this price and we see it as a confirmation for the course we have chosen, meaning to keep on offering apprenticeships for ships mechanics on our vessels. The award has been received by Mr. Peter Oltmann. To show the importance of this award and the training on board, also Mr. Silvio Sawitzki and Mr. Lukas Oltmann from the office, as well as Chief Mate Mr. Sören Peters and Second Engineer Mr. Nils Naumann were present during the ceremony. The two active seamen who were present during the ceremony are representing all other seaman who are conducting the training of young trainees on board of our vessels.

Our Captain C. Dinu has recorded a video during the voyage from Vancouver, Canada to Onahama, Japan, which depicts the Bering sea during winter time. We thank Captain Dinu and his crew that they managed to maneuver the vessel through this heavy weather without major damages to the vessel.
